Copper Mould Assembly for Billet Continuous Casting
A copper mould assembly is an integrated component of a continuous casting machine, combining the copper mould tube with the cooling and mounting components required for the mould system. We manufacture complete assemblies based on the caster design, billet section, mould radius, cooling configuration and customer drawings.

Copper Mould Tube
The copper mould tube is the primary working component of the assembly. We manufacture square billet mould tubes in different sections, radii and lengths: 100 × 100, 130 × 130, 150 × 150 mm, other square sections and customized rectangular sections. Copper grades: Cu-DHP / CuAg / CuCrZr, with hard chrome plating to the required specification. See copper mould tubes.
Mould Water Jacket
The water jacket surrounds the copper tube and forms the water-cooling system of the assembly. It is manufactured according to the copper tube dimensions, mould radius, cooling water requirements, inlet / outlet configuration, existing mould drawings and customer mounting dimensions. The cooling chamber and connection design can be customized for replacement of existing assemblies. See mould water jackets.

For a complete replacement mould we supply the copper mould tube together with the water jacket and associated components, manufactured to the original equipment dimensions, so you order one assembly instead of sourcing parts from several suppliers.
